    In addition, other symptoms of hyperthyroidism include, excessive fatigue, nervousness (and tremor), excessive sweating, increased appetite, weight loss, and goitre. Hyperthyroidism is caused by excessive production of thyroxine hormone by the thyroid glands. This results to hypermetabolism in the body.
