The molecules released would be ADP and Pi. A power stroke happens during a muscle contraction. During this time, actin rebinds to myosin, which creates the release of the ATP. ATP allows the myosin molecule to reverse the conformational change while bound to actin. This provides the power stroke of the muscle contraction. The power stroke needs ATP, and this can only be produced during life.
