What is the function of the green glands (antennal glands) in the crayfish?

    The job of the green glands of a crayfish is to maintain osmotic balance and removing nitrogenous waste. The green glands of a crayfish is in the head region just below the antean and anterior to the digestive glands, the another name for green glands antennal glands.
