Respiration is a process where many chemical bonds inside the body break and release energy. This energy is used to perform various activities such as moving muscles. Explain the energy transformation in this process.

    So to put it simply It's the " Process of breaking down glucose to obtain energy in the form of ATP" also known as Cellular Respiration.

    To explain this is that the proteins, lipids, and polysaccharides that make up most of the food we eat must be broken down into smaller molecules before our cells can use them-either as a source of energy or as building blocks for other molecules. The breakdown processes must act on food taken in from outside, but not on the macromolecules inside our own cells.
