    The ear is divided into three parts, which are outer, middle and the inner ear. The inner ear is made up of structures such as semicircular canals, cochlea and tympanic canal. The inner ear is responsible for maintain balance in hearing. The cochlea is the part of the inner ear where actual hearing takes place, the structure is in form of a tube and the tube is filled with fluids.
