Where are the cell bodies of lower motor neurons located?

Skeletal muscle contraction is instituted by lower motor neurons in the spinal cord and brain stem. The cell bodies of lower neurons can be find in the ventral horn of the spinal cord gray matter and in the motor nuclei of the cranial nerves in the brain stem.
