    Plato, 427 - 377 BC, is the philosopher believed that the soul operated on three levels: reason, will, and desire. According to the ancient Greek philosopher Plato the levels of the soul are:

    1. the reason - the logic and the seeking for true

    2. the will - the courage ti be good and to resist the appetites

    3. the desire - the appetites for various pleasures, comforts and physical satisfactions
