    Photosynthesis is an example of endergonic reaction. Endergonic reactions are those reactions in which energy is absorbed, and there is more energy at the end of the reaction than at the beginning of it (positive net change in free energy). Plants use endergonic reactions during the photosynthesis to store energy from outside sources (the energy of sunlight to form sugar molecules).
