The indications are: ventricular tarchycardia, premature ventricular contractions.

Lidocaine, is a medication used to numb tissue in a specific area.[4] It is also used to treat ventricular tachycardia and to perform nerve blocks.[3][4] Lidocaine mixed with a small amount of adrenaline (epinephrine) is available to allow larger doses for numbing, to decrease bleeding, and to make the numbing effect last longer.

Lidocaine is in the class of Antidysrhythmic drugs. It is used to treat life threatening dysrhythmias. It is effective in supressing PVCs, in treating ventricular tachcardia and some cases of V-fib. Supresses ventricular ectopy and increases the V-fib threshold. Its indications include, ventricular tachcardia, ventricular dibrillation, and malignant premature ventricular contractions.
