Part c addition of a nucleotide into a dna strand is an endergonic reaction. what provides the energy to drive the reaction

    The energy to this reaction can be provided by adding a catalyst enzyme : DNA polymerase. Energy is released when this enzyme cuts off 2 phosphate groups from the end of the nucelotide. This energy is sufficient to link the nucleotide to the DNA.
