The answer is C. By decreasing urine output.

Homeostasis refers to stability, balance, or equilibrium within a cell or the body. When the body is in balance, it is said to be in homeostasis. If the body does not have enough fluid, the body organs work to maintain balance. Kidneys are considered a major homeostatic organ of the body because of their role in urination, filtering fluids and wastes through the body. The kidney maintains this fluid balance by speeding up or slowing the rate at which they filter. On a warm and sunny day, when the body is dehydrated the body needs more fluids, the kidney will take in more fluids and one will urinate less causing decreasing urine output.
