Presbyopia is when the eyes cannot clearly see things up close. It is a Greek word which means old eye and usually happens to people aged 40 years and above thus it is a normal part of aging. Hyperopia or Farsightedness is a condition in which distant objects are much clearer compared to the closest one. This has the same visual defect of Presbyopia.
