How does the size and number of cells depend on the size of the body?

I think that the size of the cell doesn't depend on the size of the body. A elephant would have similar cell size with a rat. However the number of cells depend on the size of the body. The larger the body the more cells the body will have. This is because the larger body will have lager body organs which will require a higher number of cell to ensure efficiency.
