    1. The liver. Many confuse it with the gallbladder. However, the gallbladder only stores the bile, does not produce it. The liver produces the bile, which is used for digesting foods that have high fat and cholesterol.

    2. The gallbladder. The gallbladder stores bile before releasing it into the duodenum.
