    Chickenpox is a highly contagious viral disease cause by Varicella zoster virus.

    The disease mostly affects kids with rare cases in adults. It is charcaterised by itching rash on the skin forming red blisters. Therefore, to relieve the itching in a child with this disease a nurse would recommend frequent warm births, aspirin for pain control, application of thick coat of pramoxine lotion over the open lesions and also use of antipruritic medication to ease itching
