Compare and contrast ponds and lakes

Pond

a small body of still water formed naturally or by hollowing or embanking.

Lake

a large body of water surrounded by land.

Stream

a small, narrow river.

River

a large natural stream of water flowing in a channel to the sea, a lake, or another such stream.

I don't really know how to explain the streams and rivers but lakes and ponds are totally different but the same because both hold fish its just you can find a pond in someone's yard more than you can find a lake
