The length of lines 1, 2, and 3 is the same. Each line has the same number of dots, so your finger moved along each line in the same amount of time. One measurement of motion is average speed: average speed = total distance : total time Would the average speed of your finger be the same or different for the three lines?

    It would be the same if you used the same amount of time and, since the distance is all the same, it would be basically Correct
