When a non native species is imported into a new ecosystem the population sometimes runs wild. explain why this might be the case

    There may not be any predators for that new species. Therefore that specie is able to breed continuously and have no control over the population. Or it may bring diseases with it from its previous destination giving those diseases to the animals living in new ecosystem. Those animals wouldn't have resources or any adaptability to fight it off
