    Well technically if we are talking about reproduction then there is more than one possible process, with mitosis, meiosis and binary fission being examples, since some organisms reproduce asexually whilst others do so sexually. Growth and repair is mitosis. So if asked for one answer I suppose it may be possible to summarise it as cell division.
