Even though there might be 1 million sperm, we generally say that they are all different. why is that so?

My guess is that they each have a very small twist in each of there DNA, as if a mother and father were to have two children at two different times (both girls lets say) they would not be exactly the same. But for this question, this is on a much smaller scale than the example I used.
