Ali had to leave early from science class before finishing his notes on the outer planets. He copies the last line of notes from a friend. What did Ali most likely add to his notes?

    Well we know that 1 is not correct, because most of the outer planets are bigger than the inner planets.

    We know 2 is not correct because the inner planets revolve faster, because they each have a smaller orbit. (because they are closer to the sun)

    And we know that 4 is not correct, because the outer planets are gas and ice giants, and the inner planets are mostly rock.

    Therefore, we know 3 is correct.

    Jupiter has around 53 moons, as does Saturn. Uranus has 27, and Neptune has 13.

    For the planets closer to the sun, Venus and Mercury don’t have any moons, Earth only has one, and Mars only has two.
