A person walks through the woods. A branch falls suddenly, almost hitting him, and his heart suddenly starts racing. What part of his nervous system causes his heart to race?

    Pretty sure it would be the nerves attatched to the heart valve

    I believe that would be the Sympathetic and Autonomic nervous system, because that sounds like the fight or flight response.
