What is different from a eclipse and a penumbra lunar eclipse

    an eclipse is an obscuring of the light from one celestial body by the passage of another between it and the observer. a penises lunar eclipse is when the sun, moon, & earth are all imperfectly aligned. the earth blocks some of the sun's sunlight reaching the moon's surface.
