Look at the chemical equations for cellular respiration and photosynthesis. How do these processes compare to one another in terms of matter and energy?

Photosynthesis: 6CO2 + 6H2O + Energy → C6H12O6 + 6O2

Cellular Respiration: C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6H2O + 6CO2 + Energy
