The best action which would result in encouraging evidence-based practice is to provide a computer programme to nurses for access on to the latest nursing research.

Evidence-based is a treatment that has been researched scientifically or academically which is proven to be replicated by more than one study and been proven effective. It integrates evidence which is researched medically. In evidence-based practice there are steps which the provider follows;

1. Ask right questions by accessing the client and discover their clinical needs.

2. Look to all investigation and acquire relevant research.

3. Appraise the validity, equality and applicability to the knowledge of patient's case.

4. Discuss the results with the patient.
