The map shows the dead zones around the globe. What conclusion can be made about the location of these areas and human population?

Because human population is fairly uniform across the globe, dead zones appear in all waters and in all climates.

China has one of the world's highest human populations, so it also has more dead zones near it than any other location.

Dead zones exist in highest concentrations along the coasts of developed countries, where the highest human populations are.

There tend to be more dead zones in areas where human population is lowest, as in the ocean around Africa.
