Animal species that live in temperate regions often have adaptations that support their survival. For example, in the winter many species of birds migrate to warmer climates. Some mammals hibernate or become dormant during this season as well. Based on this, it can be determined that in temperate regions A. more organisms thrive during the winter than during the summer. B. birds are not present during any season of the year. C. mammals are inactive during every season of the year. D. more organisms thrive during the summer than during the winter.

    I would put either A or D but i lean more towards D
