A bone tumor disrupts the normal structure of osteons, replacing the organized rings with disorganized, irregular masses of bone. how will this affect the ability of a bone to perform its functions

    The disruption of osteons will lead to the formation of the bones which are soft, spongy and brittle. The strength of the bones will be decreased and they will be more prone to breakage. The shapes may also be altered by the aggression of the tumour cells, and this would definitely deviate the bones from their normal functioning.
