    Microorganisms are divided into prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Under prokaryotes are the bacteria and archaea. Before, they were taken as one (called archaebacteria). However, they were classified into two domains because of significant differences. These differences are:

    Archaea have 3 RNAs while bacteria only has one. Cell membranes of archaea are made of ether bonds, while bacteria are made of ester bonds. Also, bacteria's cell walls contain peptidoglycans while archaea do not have.

    Thus, the answer is letter D.
