    Pelvic inflammatory diseases (PID) is an diseases that affect 10-40% of women who had an infection of either gonorrhea or chlamydia and it usually occur when the initial infection such as chlamydia or gonorrhea travels upward with other bacterias beyond the the cervix into the uterus, ovaries, oviducts and pelvic cavity. However, PID is major cause of infertility in young women.
