    beef The essential amino acids are those amino acids that the body can not synthesize, so they need to be included in the diet. Of the 4 foods presented as choices, 3 of them are from plants. It's possible to get all the essential amino acids from plants only, but that requires you to eat a wide variety of different plant proteins.
