Regarding the endothelium, what is the difference between healthy vessel walls and those that promote clot formation?

    The difference between healthy vessel walls and those that promote clot formation would be that inflammation and roughening of the endothelium of the artery are present for arteries promoting clot formation. Being infected would cause the lining of the artery to roughen resulting for the platelets to adhere to the surface.
