Uranus was struck and knocked on its side, and now its the only planet that rotates on its side. Earth got its water from cometary debris striking the earth over millions of years. Also, the moon was created by the earth impacting with a Mars size object and knocking loose matter that then formed a ring around the earth, the matter then accumulated and formed the moon. (this is from yahoo) (imma look for how it affected Venus)
