    Even though one may assume the largest population of camels in the wild are found in Arabian countries, that is actually not true - the correct answer is Australia, as a matter of fact.

    There are a lot of wild camels in the Australian desert, because the 'lifestyle' there suits them most. Camels came to Australia in the 1840s and liked the hot air they found there.
