The palatine tonsils are located between which two structures

At the back of the throat is where the palatine tonsils are located. One of the tonsils is on the right side of the throat while the other tonsil is on the left side of the throat. The major roles of the these tonsils is to protect the body against gastrointestinal and respiratory infections.
