What information is not required on the nutritional portion of a food label?

    Optional nutrients are not necessiraly required. those are nutrient contents that are less important to the consumer's perception or awareness. the ff are only optional Nutrient labels:

    Calories from Saturated Fat, Sugar AlcoholsRiboflavin (Vitamin B2), Polyunsaturated Fat, Other Carbohydrates, Niacin (Vitamin B6), Monounsaturated Fat, Vitamin D, Folate, Potassium, Vitamin E, Vitamin B12, Soluble Fiber, Vitamin K, Biotin, Insoluble Fiber, Thiamin (Vitamin B1), Pantothenic Acid, Phosphorous, Iodine, and Magnesium.
