If a formation in the dna of an organism results in the replacement of an amino acid containing a polar r group with another amino acid containing a nonpolar r group how might the structure of the protein be affected? address the impact on all levels of the protein structure in your answer

    The structure of the protein will be affected if the protein is hydrophillic in nature while the R group is hydrophobic in nature.

    The tertiary structure of a protein is determined by the interaction and bond of the R group within a protein. Thus, if a mutation occur at the R group side chain the tertiary structure of the protein will be affected.
