In all psychiatric hospital, they have groups tailored to meet each patient's needs. Many times a patient will refuse to go for their own specific reasons. This particular person is saying " you're always telling me what to do, just like my father!" This is called transference. This patient is giving the nurse his feeling and attitude that is associated with his feelings for his father. This is common for many patients in these types of situations.
