    The two structures in eukaryotes that likely evolved through endosymbiosis are chloroplats and mitochondria. Eukaryotic cells such as mitochondria and chloroplasts evolved through endosymbiosis. The evidences that support the theory of endosymbiosis include; the fact that mitochondria and chloroplasts have their own DNA, they can copy themselves within the cell they are found in, they are about the same size as prokaryotes and also their gene structure is similar to prokaryotes.
