Cystic fibrosis is a deadly disease of the lungs and digestive system. It is inherited as a recessive trait. How can two healthy parents have a child with cystic fibrosis?

    You may not have cystic fiborosis to still be a carrier of it. You would not know if you were a carrier until you have a child that is born with it.
