    DRI stands for Dietary Reference Intakes. EAR and AI are the two DRi values, that will never co-exist for the same nutrient. EAR is Estimated Average Requirement. It is a nutrient intake value that is estimated to meet the requirement of half the healthy individuals in a group. AI is Adequate Intake. It is a nutrition intake value that is estimated to meet the requirementr, when the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) can not be determined.
