    Honestly, there are a lot of reasons of why the 1918 Influenza Pandemic was so deadly, and main research dates back to 2008.

    Trade routes and World War I was the major factor of why the disease spread.

    Therefore, I'd like to pick A. infected soldiers returning from the war spreading the virus when they cough, BUT I'm not sure if you want to believe in me.
