Consider the two biomes: tundra and desert. They are alike in some ways; different in others. The plants that live in both biomes have adaptations that allow them to live without much available water. The tolerance zones in the two biomes for water are similar. But the plants' tolerance zones for another abiotic factor are very different. What is that factor?
