Explain how advances in scientific knowledge have influenced society.

Advances in scientific knowledge has influenced societies vastly throughout history. For starters, the earliest neolithic revolution allowed us to grow civilizations by growing food. Later during the scientific revolution, scientific research enabled us to develop new technologies in medicine which prolonged the average life-span by a huge mark. Even nowadays scientific knowledge enables us to develop things like internet and space travel and similar things. Scientific knowledge about waves enabled us to have telegrams and telephones and television and what not. None of the things we have now would be possible without scientific knowledge that was applied to reality.
