How do binary fission and conjugation contribute to the spread of antibiotic resistance in bacteria?

    In conjugation bacteria move genes between cells that can transfer antibiotic resistance. In binary fission a resistant bacteria will make two cells with identical DNA both resistant to antibiotics.
