True or false. b cells originate and mature in the bone marrow and their function is to produce antibodies; t cells originate and mature in the thymus and their functions include killing cells that have been infected with a virus.

    The answer would be false

    T cells originate is not from the thymus. Some of the T-cells will mature in the thymus though. Both T-cells and B-cells are leucocytes that formed in the bone marrow. The function is true, B-cells will make antibodies while the T-cells will kill infected cells so infection wouldn't spread.
