How is the appearance of thylakoids similar to the appearance of the Golgi apparatus?

    Both organelles are round, and membrane-bound. They also have internal sacs that form a lumen that is the site for synthesis and transport of respective products. For thylakoid, they are the site for synthesis of photosynthesis while Golgi is sited for lipids and protein synthesis
