Explain the difference between an exotic species and an invasive species

    An exotic species is not native to the environment that it is introduced to. Exotic species rarely cause environmental harm. Invaasive species, however, are introduced to a new environment and tend to cause harm in some form, whether it is detrimental in an economic or environmental way.
