Which statement best explains why the Sand Hills population of deer mice have tan fur, rather than the dark brown fur found in other populations of deer mice?

    Because the mice in the sand hills lives in environment which is hot one, while the mice that lives in other populations have dark brown fur lives in environment with cold one so that affect their body temperature and appears on their body.
