The type of bond that develops between molecules of water in a beaker is the hydrogen bond.

    Explanation:

A hydrogen bond is formed between a hydrogen atom and a more electronegative atom. This can be atoms of fluorine, nitrogen, oxygen etc. There is an electrostatic force of attraction existing between the hydrogen atom and the electronegative atom.

Hydrogen bonds can occur within a molecule as well as between two molecules. The bonds are respectively called intra-molecular and intermolecular hydrogen bond.

In the case of water hydrogen bonds are formed between the hydrogen of one molecule and oxygen of another molecule which has lone pair of electrons.
